It's always a drag when a band I like as much as The Pogues loses someone like Shane McGowan. Obviously, I wish they had made 1000 more great albums together. That being said I didn't want to leave the impression that I abandoned them when Shane did. Waiting for Herb was actually a really good album with a lot of good songs on it. Nothing quite as epic as Thousands are Sailing, or Lorelei, but a good album nonetheless. I know the boys are very concerned about my love for them and I wanted to make sure they knew it was unconditional. I love them no matter who they have singing for them.
